Fallère mountain (3061m)

The Fallère Mountain (3061 m) is a mountain you can reach walking from Vetan, from whose summit you can admire a panoramic view of White Mountain, Gran Combin and Grivola.

The route starts from the restaurant Notre Maison in Vetan. The path go through Fallère refuge, the Frog Lake, Dead Lake and Fallère Lake.

The first part of the trail follows the route 13 to the Dead Lake, is pretty simple and goes through the pastures of Thoules and Grand Arpilles. From the latter you have to follow the dirty road that leads to Les Crottes.

The last part of the trail is more rocky and quite challenging, but amply repaid by the wonderfull panorama that you will see from the summit.
