Panoramic walk from Saint-Nicolas to Rumiod

PANORAMIC WALK FROM SAINT-NICOLAS TO RUMIOD

Walk of slight difficulty from the center of Sain-Nicolas to the village of Rumiod with a panoramic view of the peaks of Grivola, Mont Eimilius, Ruitor and the valley floor. Suitable for families with children as it is practicable with the stroller.

Roundtrip duration : about 2 hours

Path length: 3.8km (1.5km on SR41, 2.3km on scenic road)

Route: It starts from Saint-Nicolas following the regional road SR41 towards Vetan. After passing the village of Chaillod, continue along the road until you reach the entrance to the panoramic road on the right, marked by a relative sign. The scenic road extends for 2.3km to the village of Rumiod, in the first section under the shade of the trees and in the final part completely in the sun. Once you get to Rumiod, you can see the Rumiod Gullies and you can enjoy an excellent view of the valley below.
